A Fabergé gold and cornelian revolving seal
Workmaster Erik Kollin, St. Petersburg, circa 1900, inventory number 50037
the tapering horseshoe shaped gold mount in Scythian style with ribbed terminals, the swivelling matrix engraved on one side with an elaborate Russian armorial, the other with an open padlock and the date 20 March 1895, with workmaster’s initials and scratched inventory number
