probably Moscow, late 19th century, bearing spurious Fabergé marks
decorated with the King of Clubs as a Bogatyr within a stylized foliage geometric border, the sides and hinged lid decorated with foliate scrolls and geometric motifs in the manner of Fedor Rückert on a turquoise-blue ground, the gilt interior lined with velvet
