A Russian silver-gilt and shaded cloisonné enamel tea-caddy
Pavel Ovchinnikov, Moscow, 1908-1917
of tapering square form with chamfered angles decorated with palm leaves, the sides with floral sprays within lotus shaped reserves with stylized palm leaf borders, the hinged cover with a central rosette, the borders with blue geometric decoration applied with gilt pellets, maker’s mark beneath Imperial Warrant
9.5cm high, 8.4cm maximum wide, 8.4cm deep
