Footnote
Note: This famous image by Sir Robert Strange was popular and widely spread during the '45. However by 1747 it is recorded that Strange was living in semi anonymity in Edinburgh (perhaps due to his overt support for the cause) and he made his living selling miniatures of the Prince. While not signed, the quality of the engraved print and the period frame do offer the possibility this was of the period.
