London: R. Ackermann, 1816. 4to, 10 hand-coloured aquatint plates, 20th century blue half morocco gilt by Bayntun with blue morocco gilt label to upper cover, spine faded, neat ownership signature to flyleaf, initial plate slightly dust-soiled with small, neat repair to upper margin

Note: Seemingly an independently issued copy of "The History of Winchester College", issued as part of Ackermann's "Public Schools" - "The History of the Colleges of Winchester, Eton and Westminster..." [Abbey, Scenery, 438], with 56 text leaves and the 1st January 1815 issue of the "Winchester College from the Meadow" plate. The main title-page reads "The History of Winchester College", a copy of the same cannot be traced in the British Library or in Abbey Scenery.
