the circular enamelled dial with Roman numerals and twin train movement enclosed within plated case with flowering foliate filigree frame, centred with cartouche bearing owner's cypher, raised on an oak stand with applied rosette frieze and plaque, bearing inscription MOMENTUM UNDE PENDET ETERNITAS (Eternity depends on the present moment)
