Footnote
Note: Tudor is a 'sister' brand of Rolex, registered in 1926 by Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf. Initially intended as a more affordable alternative to Rolex watches, while maintaining the quality expected from the brand, the firm soon became known for producing military wristwatches. At first, Tudor watches were manufactured using Rolex Oyster cases, and Rolex bracelets, but featured movements from other companies known for producing reliable mechanisms. The brand was re-launched in 2009 and in the last five years has gained notable popularity within the watch-collecting and buying public.
