Description
carved light wood and shell, standing on a flat base with elegant sloping foot, the oval bowl adorned with elegant finials below opposing depictions of frigate birds each having caught a fish, the body of the wood stained with plant juice mixed with charcoal and inlaid throughout with nautilus shell using parinarium gum, the underside with dual labels reading "Solomon Is" and "Ugi Island"
