Our first Asian Works of Art auction of 2022 took place online in March. Featuring a selection of glass, ceramics, metalwares, jade, hardstone, works of art and paintings from across Asia. The auction was led by a Gild Bronze Figure of Milarepa, which sold for £137,500 inclusive of buyers premium. The figure, from the Qing Dynasty, featured a cast seated on a double lotus throne in lalitasana with the back of the throne engraved with Tibetan inscriptions.
