清 乾隆款 銅胎掐絲琺琅獸形觥
each of mythical beast form, two heads, one horned and another cat-like at either end of the cover, the front head with square teeth within oval mouth, flanked by a pair of V-shaped ears and horns, the cat's head flanked by two fan-shaped ears, both heads joined by a notched flange decorated with two sinuous kui dragons on both sides, the vessel section further with three notched flanges on the front and sides, decorated on the body with highly stylised kui dragons, back set with a shaped loop handle, all decorations against a turquoise ground, the base engraved with a four-character Qianlong mark within double-squares panel
