the steed modelled in mid-stride with its right front leg raised and the remaining three legs firmly planted on the ground, its head turned slightly to the left, detailed with arched neck, wide eyes, flared nostrils and exposed teeth, wearing a saddle blanket and strapwork with trappings, the surfaces showing traces of colour
